Bwaca seeks to achieve its goals of promoting our material and none material culture through its capacity as a promoter, a player in revitalizing community development through the arts and educating young people about their rich cultural heritage.

Bwaca as a Promoter:

Bwaca embarks on realizing its goals through the promotion of both Tonga and Non-Tonga art works such as music, dance, storytelling and crafts. As a promoter, Bwaca's interests particularly lie on illuminating the works of young artists and traditional Tonga artists whose works have not had a lot of attention. Bwaca has worked in collaboration with various local young artists that include Umdumo Wesizwe Music and Dance company. Bwaca does in its capacity as a promoter, host and organize festivals and concerts in various parts of Zimbabwe and abroad.

Bwaca in cultural exchanges:

Bwaca seeks to promote community education, the preservation of our the cultural heritage by holding and passing on the cultural values of the community. We believe that sound cultural growth comes from an exchange of ideas. In recognition of this belief, Bwaca seeks to encourage cross-cultural communication among tribes, young people and bring about mutual understanding through the universal language of art. Many tourists who come to Victoria Falls only consume culture as a commodity. Bwaca seeks to change this emphasis by engaging tourists in a cultural education geared towards promoting international understanding. Groups of students and interested tourists shall work on educational projects with the locals. These young people shall live and try to learn from each other's life experiences while sharing basic skills and knowledge. Bwaca is also committed to collaborating with both local and international organisations who share similar goals.

Bwaca in community development:

Bwaca has worked with various Tonga women artists to seek international markets for products such as crafts, basketry, costumes, sculpture and various other products, marketed both locally and internationally. Bwaca is geared toward preserving the traditional skill of crafts making by providing training where it can and acting as a catalyst for those with means to pass on to youth the opportunity to develop these skills. Bwaca has also collaborated with other organizations to promote a Tonga voice online.
